Drink Water for Life

I am born again christian, kenyan male adult .I had my basic education upto college level in kenya, where i graduated with Diploma in water engineering. Upon my graduation i worked in kenya for two years and join Ramapo university college in New Jersey in 1989 for my degree work in Envirnoment sciences.

In 1995, i return from further studies in the USA and was deeply troubled by lack of safe drinking water among the school pupils/villagers and decided to mobilize the community and started a self help group GWAKO to address the water and sanitation. In the midst of my struggle to address the water crisis – digging of shallow water wells, I became to understand the words of our master of providing “Living water” see the story of the Samaritan woman at the Jacob Well (John 4:1-42). This led me into forming a prayer cells groups that later transformed to Lifewater Community church.

Today Lifewater Community church through her developmemt arm GWAKO is adressing water and sanitation needs in western kenya.
